Spring brings Manhattan residents two exciting ways to support the environment and enjoy community events.

 

On April 15, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., the Community Recycling Day at Flatiron South Plaza invites locals to recycle electronics—both working and broken—and a variety of textiles.

 

This Earth Month initiative, led by the Lower East Side Ecology Center with Councilmember Harvey Epstein, also accepts clean plastic and reusable bags in partnership with SoMad®.
