The National Museum of Mathematics (MoMath) has opened its striking new home at 635 Sixth Avenue in Manhattan’s Chelsea, nearly doubling its original space.
With more than 70 engaging math exhibits—featuring beloved classics like the square-wheeled tricycle and 31 all-new installations—MoMath captivates visitors of every age.
Highlights include ‘Allot Like an Egyptian’, where kids explore Egyptian fractions through hands-on play, and a dedicated early childhood area offering kid-sized interactive experiences to inspire a love for math from the start.
MoMath also spotlights the intersection of art and mathematics, recently hosting ‘Mathemalchemy’ and the mesmerizing ‘Fluids & Fractals’ exhibition.
Dr. Manjul Bhargava, a renowned Fields Medalist, now serves as MoMath’s first president, steering the museum toward greater innovation and outreach.
The expanded MoMath promises an unforgettable, interactive exploration of mathematics for all.
