UNIQLO is set to significantly expand its presence in New York City with the opening of four new stores in 2026. This strategic growth underscores the brand's commitment to serving the diverse communities of Manhattan and Brooklyn.

The expansion includes three new locations in Manhattan:

a store near Bryant Park at 510 Fifth Avenue,

another in Union Square at 860 Broadway,

and a third at the World Trade Center.

Additionally, a new store is planned for the Williamsburg neighborhood in Brooklyn, located at 187 Kent Avenue. ([uniqlo.com](https://www.uniqlo.com/us/en/news/topics/2026012201/?utm_source=openai))

These openings coincide with the 20th anniversary of UNIQLO's SoHo Global Flagship, the brand's first global flagship outside Japan. This milestone reflects UNIQLO's enduring commitment to the New York market. ([uniqlo.com](https://www.uniqlo.com/us/en/news/topics/2026012201/?utm_source=openai))

Fuminori Adachi, UNIQLO USA CEO, emphasized the significance of this expansion, stating that each new store opening is a thoughtful step forward for the brand. He highlighted the focus on opening stores in markets that matter most to customers, aiming to deliver the full UNIQLO store experience and build lasting relationships with local communities. The new stores are designed to offer a modern and convenient shopping experience, featuring services such as RFID-enabled self-checkout, alteration services, and RE.UNIQLO donation bins supporting circularity. Select locations will also offer UTme!, providing customizable T-shirts and tote bags, and RE.UNIQLO Studio, offering repair and embroidery services. As UNIQLO continues to grow, these new stores in Manhattan and Brooklyn represent a significant investment in the local retail landscape, bringing the brand's LifeWear philosophy to more New Yorkers.
