Jemmy's Dog Run, nestled within Madison Square Park, stands as a cherished haven for Manhattan's canine companions.

Located just south of the West 25th Street entrance, this dog run offers a vibrant space where dogs can exercise, socialize, and play throughout the year.

Recent enhancements have elevated the park's appeal.

The addition of 200 square feet has allowed for separate areas catering to both large and small dogs, ensuring a safer and more enjoyable experience for all.

Improved lighting, clean water sources, and ample seating with umbrellas provide comfort for both pets and their owners.

Notably, the inclusion of artificial turf and gentle hills adds an extra layer of fun for the dogs.

To maintain a clean and safe environment, Jemmy's Dog Run has implemented specific maintenance schedules.

Daily closures occur at 6 AM, 11 AM, and 4 PM for brief cleaning sessions.

Additionally, deep cleaning, including power washing, takes place every Tuesday and Thursday from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM.

These measures ensure the park remains in top condition for its visitors.

Adherence to dog park rules is essential for the safety and enjoyment of all patrons.

Dogs must be leashed at all times, except within designated off-leash areas during specified hours.

Owners are required to clean up after their pets and dispose of waste properly.

Ensuring dogs are licensed and vaccinated is also mandatory.

For a comprehensive list of regulations, visitors can refer to the New York City Parks Department's guidelines.

Whether you're a longtime resident or a visitor to the city, Jemmy's Dog Run offers a welcoming space for dogs and their owners to enjoy the outdoors together.

Its thoughtful amenities and commitment to cleanliness make it a standout destination in Manhattan's urban landscape.
